Yakima Community Orchestra

Join our friendly community orchestra today!

We meet Tuesday nights at 7:30pm to play music arranged specifically for our group - no pressure, no auditions, just the joy of making music together.

A $30/month membership fee keeps the group running and covers rehearsals + music.

We welcome musicians of all skill levels and backgrounds. Whether you are a beginner or advanced musician, we have a place for you.

Orchestral strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion are welcome. Members must provide their own instruments.

Note: New members are welcome year-round, however at least one month of rehearsals are required before a new member is eligible to take part in any performances.

Orchestra Rehearsals:

When: Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30pm

We have two other adult community music groups that will be starting on September 3rd, 2026. Register today to claim your spot in one of these new groups!

Yakima Community Choir

When: Thursdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Where: Affordable Music Studio (16 Ranch Rite Road, Yakima, WA)
Cost: $30/month
Whether you've been singing for years or are joining a choir for the first time, Yakima Community Choir offers a welcoming place to make music, meet new friends, and enjoy the power of singing together.

Yakima Senior Folk Music

When: Thursdays, 10:30-11:30am
Where: Affordable Music Studio (16 Ranch Rite Road, Yakima, WA)
Cost: $15/month
Join us for a relaxed and joyful morning of singing, playing, and community. Bring your guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, hand percussion, or voice to enjoy traditional folk music with friends. Previous music experience recommended but not required.
